Following the conference, two field trips were organized. On the first day, 80 researchers and doctoral students visited the Rengård hydropower plant on the Skellefteälven River, hosted by Skellefteå Kraft, as well as the Markbygden wind park, hosted by Svevind.
The next day, 25 STandUP members traveled to the Porjus hydropower plant, hosted by Vattenfall.
